On August 20th, Kevin Federline will get the chance to show his music to the world. He will be at the Teen Choice Awards where he will close the ceremony with his single “Lose Control” from the impending album Playing with Fire.
Federline, an aspiring rapper and husband to Britney Spears, says the audience will be “shocked” by his performance. “It’s been building up for a long time… so I decided to just get out there and jump on stage,” he says.
Britney Spears will reportedly accompany her husband to the event provided she is feeling well enough. They’ve also been collaborating on a duet in the studio in recent months.
“I want to prove myself as an artist, as a rapper, and as a human being in society who goes through everything everybody else goes through,” Federline reported.

Carlos Castenedo was “draped” in Columbia last weekend as he was chosen to be the new “Juan Valdez.” Coffee drinker everwhere (except Starbucks) can tell you that while Carlos isn’t a celebrity, his character is a superhero!

This week in fashion we see the retro-glam look, with sleek curls and dramatic make up being played up all over town. Can you spot the celeb who tried too hard?

At the season premiere of “It’s Always Sunny in Phiadelphia” Danny DeVito chats awith a friend, drinks a cosmo, and establishes, once again, why short men rarely complain about being short. How’s the view there, Danny-o?
No wonder the mysterious (and lovely) “friend” look amused and slightly surprised!

She is freaking gorgeous in an elegant and amazing way. (Even you girls have to admit that.)

She’s a socialite, model, TV star, actor, author, entrepreneur … now, as Paris Hilton gets ready to add pop star to the list, she talks frankly to Simon Hattenstone about Nicole Richie, that home video and why she plans on being celibate for a year

I nearly vomitted after reading this article. What if behind all the celibrity crap there is a real person back there somewhere. Nah probably not.

North Korea announced a scientific breakthrough Friday, and it had nothing to do with the missile tests that startled the world this week. Researchers developed a new cosmetic agent to make skin supple, state-run media boasted.
“They analyzed in a scientific way why the hand skin of those who are making bean paste is smooth and fair,” state news agency KCNA reported. Armed with the data, scientists made an agent that helps fight wrinkles and lightens moles and freckles, it said.
Bean paste is a staple of Korean cooking, and the North Korean scientists who designed the cosmetic agent might be onto something because beans are used in some skin care products around the world.
However, few North Koreans other than the elite get enough to eat — let alone have the income to splurge on beauty products.

Last February, 38 year old star Ashley Judd endured over a month’s-long stay at a Texas treatment center to overcome serious issues she’s grappled with her entire life.
Depression, isolation and co-dependent relationships are but a few of the problems Judd underwent treatment for, she admitted to Glamour magazine.
“I was in so much pain,” she says, “I needed help.”
Help came, and now she says she’s able to take life one day a time. A quotation attributed to Eleanor Roosevelt, Judd says these words allow her to take responsbility for her own feelings.
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
