Two-time skiing world champion Lindsey Vonn was airlifted to an Austrian hospital Tuesday after crashing during the Alpine World Championships. This isn’t the first time the Vancouver downhill gold medalist has been injured on the slopes, but this is undoubtedly the most serious injury of Vonn’s career. A doctor speaking on behalf of the team reported significant damage to at least two ligaments in Vonn’s right knee, which will require surgery.

The newly single Vonn recently made headlines for her rumored romance with serious philanderer Tiger Woods.

A spokesperson for boxing legend Muhammad Ali is disputing a British tabloid report claiming the one-time heavyweight champion is near death.
