Zsa Zsa Gabor Bernard Madoff Scheme “Facing Financial Ruin”
Legendary actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, 91, is facing financial ruin after losing millions in accused swindler Bernard Madoff’s multibillion dollar pyramid scheme.
Madoff is awaiting trial on charges that he sweet-talked billions of dollars from his wealthy clients. A number of Hollywood stars have been affected by the scandal, including Footloose star Kevin Bacon and his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick, as well as director Steven Spielberg.
“We’re mad as hell. We want our money back. We might be forced to sell our Bel Air home, cars, artwork and even our jewellery because of this sick man,” Zsa Zsa’s ninth husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, laments in Thursday’s edition of The National Enquirer.
“This scam artist should be dragged through the streets and flogged,” he adds.
Frederic blames himself for the couple’s predicament, as it was he who convinced his wife of 23 years to invest her fortune with the shady Madoff.
“I feel really bad, because Zsa Zsa shouldn’t have to worry about the financial mess I’ve gotten us into. We are taking legal action to recoup some of the money. I’m going to have to make back that money somehow, or we’re going to face financial ruin.”

Ha ha…. like everyone else Zsa Zsa is crying wolf after blindly risking their fortunes. Boo Hoo! Maybe she should have done a little bit of her own research (or hired compotent people to do it). Saw a great book on this whole due diligence thing called Hedge Fund Operational Due Diligence written by Jason Scharfman (on amazon if anyone wants it).
