‘Zoolander 2’ Trailer Arrives, Is Actually Insane

It’s been 15 years since Zoolander was released, almost without due warning, into the world. Since then, Zoolander has become a cult classic film, and it was only a matter of time before fans got a sequel. Recently, and shockingly, Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller reunited in a big way, walking the Valentino runway at this spring’s Paris Fashion Week.

Highly-anticipated, here’s the theatrical trailer for Zoolander 2, and yes, that is Benedict Cumberbatch sans eyebrows.

You may spot some familiar faces in this trailer, and some that look literally nothing like the actors playing them (looking at you, Kristen Wiig). And you’ll also recognize some huge stars: Joe Jonas and Justin Bieber both make appearances, with the latter getting murdered. It seems like this movie is just running on wish fulfillment!

Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller will reprise their roles as Hansel and Derek Zoolander, and Will Ferrell returns as uber-villain Mugatu. Also joining the cast are Penelope Cruz, Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Munn, and according to IMDb, Justin Theroux and Kanye West.

In this installment, Zoolander and Hansel find themselves totally obsolete in the world of fashion. Both laughingstocks, they get a second chance at relevance when an operative from Interpol (Cruz) needs their help to figure out who is murdering “beautiful people” around the world. Zoolander and Hansel need to “infiltrate” the world of fashion, and find out who the mastermind was who killed Bieber (along with Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Usher. Say it ain’t so!).

This movie is shaping up to be a must-see event! Zoolander 2 will arrive in theaters on February 12, 2016.
