In the wake of the Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy scandal, the Nickelodeon network has confirmed that the sixteen year old’s ratings winner, Zoey 101, will not be back for a fifth season.

A Nickelodeon rep claims the “fourth and final season” of Zoey 101 wrapped months ago so show production will not be affected by it’s young star’s teen pregnancy.

The series featured Jamie Lynn as a student at the fictitious Pacific Coast Academy. Zoey 101 will air episodes for it’s third season next month as one of Nickelodeon’s highest-rated shows.

Imagine Maddie, when shhe’s older, and hears about this whole scandal; I’m actually wondering about how she’ll feel about it. Many are hating, but Jaime Lynn and Casey are human too. Plus, they’re human teenagers. They’re allowed to make mistakes, and teenagers are known to make mistakes. Even if they were a full adult, they’re still human.
I personally think Jaime Lynn is brave for putting up with the crap she’s getting. I mean honestly, hated from a LOT of people, just because she made one mistake?
I don’t look up to Jaime Lynn; I’m not a fan of hers. I just think her situation kind of…sucks right now. She has to grow up faster now, but she’s only 16. That was her mistake, but she’s taken responsibility for it.
Of course, I liked the show – I wish there was even a TINY BIT more closure. Not even a season five. Just an episode where everything is cleared up by everyone. Like the Quinn and Logan couple situation, and even the Chase and Zoey one. They’re a couple, and it just ends there. There wasn’t a proper aftermath. If there was that, I would’ve been happy.
