WWE honors Ultimate Warrior at opening of Monday Night RAW
Just 6 days after The Ultimate Warrior died in Phoenix, Arizona, the WWE opened their Monday Night Raw with a special tribute honoring him.
Warrior, who was inducted just last weekend into the WWE Hall of Fame, died from what was ruled as “Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease”or an apparent heart attack. No drugs or alcohol were directly involved in the death of Warrior.
He leaves behind his wife, Dana Viale and his two young daughters. They both accompanied him on stage last weekend at the WWE induction ceremonies.
The entire WWE cast, along with Vince McMahon appeared on stage at the start of the show, standing in silence as the bell was rung 10 times.
Rest in Peace, Ultimate Warrior.
