Writers Guild Of America “American Idol” Protest: “Truth Tour Protest Bus”

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has launched a protest against American Idol, claiming the No. 1 show on television underpays and overworks employees due to the fact that reality show workers are not protected by WGA contracts.
In protest over the labor dispute, the WGA has organized Truth Tour Bus carrying 50 participants, including writers and stand-up comedians, that will stop in several U.S cities as it shadows the 2008 American Idol audition tour.

I want to protest American Idol for the finale last night. It is clear to me that Adam Lambert was the obvious winner and has been week after week since Idol started. It was difficult to call in to vote for Adam, religion came into play when it should have nothing at all do with it, and Idol should be a talent show, not a popularity contest. Something fishy going on here. Too obvious where the talent really is. Won’t be watching next season, too many lies and crooks involved. Too bad, just too bad.
