Willow Smith, 13, in Bed with Moises Arias, 20: Thoughts on This?

In case you haven’t heard, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith are staunchly opposed to the perils of strict parenting. The Fresh Prince summarized the power couple’s controversial approach to parenting during a 2013 interview with Haute Living:
“My style of parenting is very similar to that of my parents, minus the concept of ownership. I think that, specifically in African-American households, the idea coming out of slavery, there’s a concept of your children being property and that was a major part that Jada and I released with our kids. We respect our children the way we would respect any other person. Things like cleaning up their room. You would never tell a full-grown adult to clean their room, so we don’t tell our kids to clean their rooms.”
So we can’t help but wonder how Willy From Philly feels about an eyebrow-raising pic sparking hysteria on the Net.
The image in question features Willow Smith, Will and Jada’s 13-year-old daughter, in bed with a shirtless Moises Arias — who just happens to be 20 years of age. Arias is perhaps best known for his role as Rico on Disney’s Hannah Montana. He is reportedly friends with Willow’s 15-year-old brother, Jaden.
The photo hit Instagram on Tuesday, prompting the immediate disapproval of social networkers. The black and white snapshot shows the platinum-blonde “Whip My Hair” singer lying down on the bed, while Moises, who is shirtless, is propped up behind her. The picture was captioned “Simba and Nala.” Moises deleted the photo from his IG account after receiving a barrage negative comments.
“No surprise here!!!! #Next”
@Monaper29 chimed in with:
“I shake my head back and forth…”
@danideck3 called out Mr. and Mrs. Smith, adding:
“@etnow As a mom all I’m thinking is ‘WHAT THE HELL ARE WILL AND JADA ALLOWING AT HOME!?!’ Such a pity. That is NOT acceptable.”
@SweetDerry took things a step further, saying:
“Calling CPS now.”
She’s barely out of middle school, but Willow Smith is no stranger to a PR firestorm. The teen tasted her first splash of bad press with the release of her 2013 single “Summer Fling.”
