Jessica Simpson’s ‘Blonde Ambition’ and ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ co-star, country legend Willie Nelson, will be producing her upcoming country-western album.

Jess says:

“My next album is probably going to be with Willie Nelson. I’ve been wanting to do a country record because it’s in my roots.” Simpson admits she came up with the idea of working with country legend Nelson when they played family in the 2005 comedy, Dukes of Hazzard. I aspire to be like Patsy Cline. Willie actually turned me on to her because he used to be one of her background singers.”
