Whoopi Goldberg will undergo therapy to cure her fear of flying on live TV.

The actress hasn’t flown for a decade, but an upcoming business commitment in London means she has to step on a plane once again.

Whoopi is dreading the experience.

The Oscar-winning Ghost star will undergo a special course on The View, courtesy of Virgin Atlantic boss Sir Richard Branson, on Wednesday.

The therapy will include putting her in a flight simulator to help conquer her fears.

“I am sweating a lot. My mind is doing bad stuff to me….I am not a good flyer. I don’t like it. I don’t wanna do it.”

The first time I ever flew was this past May and my first trip was actually to London. I have a great fear of heights so I understand what she is going through by not wanting to fly. We flew Virgin Atlantic and it was the greatest flight ever. Since then I have flown a couple times and I absolutely love it. But I definitely attribute my great experience to Virgin Atlantic.

I thought tapping was a weird way to overcome fear of flying… but its funny, because it seems to have worked for Whoopi… has anyone tried this yet?

ANYONE…my fear of flying is EXACTLY like Whoopi’s. Where can I find the ‘tapping’ technique, that seemed to work for her??? Thanks for helping! I haven’t flown in YEARS and dread the day….
