Whole Foods customers are not the type of people you will typically find shopping at Walmart. They tend to be well… a bit more… Ummm. Fuck it — Snobby. They are snobby as hell.
Enter a Whole Foods store and you can pretty much charge whatever you want and people will buy it if you include the buzzwords “Free Trade” and “Sustainable” on your food packaging.

Customers actually seem to appreciate that Whole Foods would purchase products hand picked by only the best 7-year-old Guatemalan worker children. At least the kids are not slaves, as Fischer points out “they are free range children and we allow them to roam around whatever room their in at that time.” The customer actually responded “Oh Wow! That’s Nice!”
