Whitney Port Dodgers vs. Mets Opening Pitch (May 21)
Whitney Port, star of MTV’s The City, served as honorary opening pitcher at last Thursday night’s match-up between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Mets.
The L.A.-born Whitney — a lifelong Dodgers fanatic — blogged about the May 21 event on her Official Blog over the weekend.
“It was so cool because I’ve been a Dodgers fan my whole life,” The City star exclaimed. “So it was really special to be there with my entire family.”
“I’m pretty proud of myself. For someone who hasn’t played in quite a few years I think I did pretty well,”
Whit added.Whitney currently resides in New York City, where she lends her signature style to designer Diane Von Furstenberg.
