The Queen of Talk will kick off the 24th season of The Oprah Winfrey Show with an interview with legendary vocalist Whitney Houston next month.

On Sept. 14, the Grammy-winning hitmaker will sit down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss her life over the last decade, and her new album, I Look to You, in stores Sept. 1.

“I’m a lot wiser now, certainly a lot older. Things mean a lot more to me,” Whitney recently said of her new album. “I have a 16-year-old daughter, which makes a lot of changes in a woman’s life. I think the songs themselves will speak to you when you hear them. And you’ll understand where I am and the changes I’ve gone through for the better.”

In a press release Wednesday, Winfrey called the visit “the most anticipated music interview of the decade.”
