Whitney Houston “Good Morning America” Performance Pre-Taped
Whitney Houston will not be singing live during in performance on ABC’s Good Morning America next month because “she is not a morning person.”
Ms. Whitney will visit GMA to promote her first album in seven years, I Look To You, but instead of singing live, the singer’s performance will be pre-taped the day before.
“Lots of singers don’t like to perform at 7:30 in the morning,” a GMA production insider tells The NY Post.
While less established stars would be forced to perform live, Houston is such an industry icon that the producers would deny her wishes.
“She’s the music ‘get’ of the season. They are so happy to have her,” said the source.
