Well here’s something I’ve been waiting to see since I was eight!

Universal Studios is planning a live-action family film version of the popular 80s’-90s’ children’s book series Where’s Waldo?, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Created by illustrator Martin Handford, the books featured Waldo, dressed in a red-and-white shirt, wearing glasses and carrying a walking stick, as he popped up in crowded full-page scenes.

The proposed film project will revovle around a 30-year-old Waldo, who travels through time after accidentally activating a malfunctioning travel machine.
