Weird Yankovic Back with “Word Crimes”

Weird Al Yankovic has built a career out of producing side-splitting parody songs based on radio hits. Since bursting onto the scene in the 1980s, he’s covered everyone from Michael Jackson and Madonna to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lady Gaga.

After more than a quarter century in the parody biz, Weird Al returns with his 14th studio album, Mandatory Fun. The album features parodies of some of the biggest hits of the past year including Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” (“Tacky”), Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” (“Word Crimes”), Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” (“Handy”), Lorde’s “Royals” (“Foil”) and Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” (“Inactive”).
