Watch Seth Rollins And Jon Stewart’s Legendary Fight on Monday Night Raw!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for finally arrived. The “rivalry” between The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart and WWE wrestler Seth Rollins heated up to a boiling point on Monday Night Raw when Stewart showed up. The feud broke out when Rollins announced that he could run The Daily Show, “better than Jon Stewart ever did.” Jon retaliated by uploading a video, threatening that the wrestler had “just stepped in a world of hurt,” and, “This is the biggest mistake you’ve ever made, coming after The Daily Show!”

Of course Rollins couldn’t just stand by. So naturally he showed up on the set of The Daily Show, completely surprising Stewart. Rollins challenged the 52-year-old to a fight on Monday Night Raw at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Initially, the athlete had thought that the host was afraid to show his face.

Rollins, thinking the Stewart was a no-show, told the audience that the comedian was “a wuss who’s also a phony,” adding, “I shouldn’t really be surprised—he’s from New Jersey!”

Rollins continued: “Let’s give Stewart some credit where it’s deserved. He’s a smart guy. He obviously decided not to show up tonight…I wouldn’t show up if I were him either. I mean, Jon Stewart really wants to retire on his own terms, and if Jon Stewart showed up here tonight, I would force him to retire immediately because it is quite difficult to do a phony news show with your jaw wired shut.”

But then he was shocked as, out of nowhere, The Daily Show’s theme music started playing, with lights flashing all around, and the legendary Jon Stewart made his arrival. Rollins was obviously displeased, and immediately started to threaten the beloved host.

“You wanna come into my ring and try and make a fool out of me?”

“No, I don’t, and I apologize for that,” Stewart replied. “I could not. I would never make a fool—how could I make a fool out of a man dressed like a swat team stripper with Lady Gaga’s hair? How could I do that? I’m not here to do that. I’m your friend!”

He continued, “You may be stronger than me, you may be better looking than me, you may be taller than me, you may be able to lift your arms above your shoulders—which I used to be able to do but can’t [now]—but let me tell you this: I have something you’ll never have and that’s respect.”

Apparently Rollins didn’t take the dig too well, as he grabbed Stewart, making it seem as though he was done for. But the host was too quick; he turned the tables by kicking his tormenter right in the crotch! Ouch.
