Justin Bieber is normally pretty light on his feet, but he’s a little too footloose for comfort in a video taken shortly after his DUI arrest in Florida last month.
Justin’s shaky attempt at walking a straight line is part of 10 hours of videotaped jail surveillance released by the Miami Dade County Corrections Department Wednesday, at the request of The Associated Press and other news organizations. We’ve been spared the worst of the footage: Justin’s lawyers asked the judge to withhold four clips showing the almost 20-year-old singer urinating in a cup for a drug test and “in various states of undress which show personal parts.”
Thank goodness for small favors.
Breath tests revealed that Justin’s blood-alcohol level was below 0.02, but drug tests found marijuana and antidepressant Xanax in his system. The pop star has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license. A trial is set for March 3.
It turns out Bieber doesn’t have to enter Judge Judy’s courtroom for the daytime star to reach her verdict on the star’s behaviour.
The Emmy winner isn’t particularly impressed with The Biebs’ bad boy image.
Shocking, we know.
The small screen jurist lit into JB in a recent interview with CBS Los Angeles:
“Being a celebrity is a gift. You could either treat it reverently or you could make a fool out of yourself. And he’s doing a very good job of making a fool out of himself. I think it’s sad. Nobody’s going to remember that he was a marginal singer. But they’re going to remember a young kid who had a chance to have it all and who is blowing it by acting like a fool.”
Well, she never was one to mince words, was she? There goes our dream of Judy-Justin duet!
