Wanda Sykes Late-Night Show FOX Saturdays
Outspoken actress-comedian Wanda Sykes is finalizing a deal to host a Saturday late-night show.
on FOX, The Hollywood Reporter revealed on Wednesday.
According to the trade paper, the hour-long series is slated to premiere in the fall and will succeed the recently cancelled, long-running sketch comedy show MadTV.
Sykes’ show will feature a panel of recurring guests squaring over issues concerning politics as well as pop culture. Sykes will appear in field segments as well.
The actress, who co-stars on CBS’ The New Adventures of Old Christine, previously headlined the sitcom Wanda at Large on FOX.
