“WALL-E” #1 Weekend Box Office Opening $62.5 Million

WALL-E debuted as the No. 1 movie at the box office this weekend. Pixar’s G-rated animated film about a robot earned $62.5 million in ticket sales, beating Angelina Jolie’s new assassin thriller Wanted. Wanted opened in second place with $51.1 million, according to early studio estimates.
