A popular New York City eatery is facing a lawsuit from a former employee who alleges her hours were cut after she snubbed a date with celebrity customer Owen Wilson.

The Wedding Crashers star was dining at Manhattan’s Cafe Habana when he reportedly asked out waitress Monica Mateo. The spunky — and at times suicidal — actor invited Mateo out for a coffee, but she politely turned him down because she has a boyfriend.

Now she’s suing the SoHo haunt because she claims her hours were drastically reduced after she rejected Wilson. When Monica’s manager Leslie Meenan heard about the snub, he went ballistic, shouting at her, “You know what coffee means in Hollywood, right? …Don’t screw this up. Owen’s a good customer,” according to the lawsuit, filed in Manhattan Federal Court.
