VMA Musical Director Timbaland Says No To Britney Spears MTV Video Music Awards 2007

Super producer Timbaland is one member of the music community who isn’t leaping for joy off Britney Spears’ highly-likely opening performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. Tim, who is serving as this year’s VMA musical director, has joined Britney’s ex Justin Timberlake in campaigning against a Brit showing.
“He doesn’t want her on the show,” according to celebrity insider Marc Malkin. “Too much drama, and he thinks she is going to take away from the other good performers.”
