Actor Vin Diesel paid an emotional tribute to his “brother” Paul Walker at the site of the late star’s fatal car crash over the weekend.
“I just want to say thank you. Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciate him,” visibly shaken Vin said into a police loudspeaker at a memorial for his Fast and Furious co-star.
Earlier, the buff screen star posted the following statement to his Facebook wall:
“‘To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die.’
Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now… and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us…on me…I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were… on and off screen.”
Paul Walker, 40, and former race car driver Roger Rodas, 38, were killed on Saturday after Rodas lost control of Walker’s Porsche Carrera GT and crashed into a pole. The two went out for a quick spin after a leaving a fundraiser for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
