Victoria Beckham has announced her retirement from the music industry, according to reports in the UK. The Spice Girls announced that they were canning the last leg of their lucrative reunion tour on Friday after Victoria Beckham announced her plans to permanently shelf her recording career to focus on fashion. Posh Spice is becoming a full-time fashion designer.

“I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I’m not in the music industry any more. I’m in the fashion industry,” Posh tells NOTW.

“I’m putting together a team of people now so it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month.”

“Fashion is far more lucrative for her. She’s actually considered a success. It gives her kudos in LA and she’s making a lot of money,” says a NOTW source.
