Victoria Beckham’s DVB fashion line has been pulled from a number of high-end American boutiques, including Fred Segal and Kitson, due to poor promotion and sales.

Last week, Kitson’s owner criticized the former Spice Girls apparent reluctance to take part in in-store appearances in support of the denim line:

“We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn’t. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell.”
