Victoria Beckham’s collection of high-end dresses will be unveiled when New York Fashion Week Spring 2009 descends on NYC’s Bryant Park next month.

While V.B will not debut the dress line on the catwalk, the Spice Girl turned designer is expected to invite top buyers and editors to view the frocks by appointment only.

“It will be something completely different from what I’ve ever done. I’m just putting it together at the moment, but they will be very upscale dresses and likely will start at around $1,200 retail. I’m going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries,” Victoria said of the collection earlier this year.
