Tom Cruise is enlisting the expertise of his “posh” friend Victoria Beckham to for costume design on his forthcoming film, Hardy Men. The movie, co-starring actor Ben Stiller, is a big screeb adaptation of the classic series of children’s detective novels, The Hardy Boys.

“Tom approached Vicky during her birthday celebrations in LA on Sunday,” a tabloid spy says.

“Afterwards, he pulled her aside and asked if she’d like to be involved with costume consultation on Hardy Men….The idea is for her to have a series of meetings with the costume department.”

Tom’s offer could be the beginning of a big career boost for notorious fashion addict Victoria:

“If she agrees, Victoria will be given a name check in the end credits. It’s a hugely exciting opportunity and she blushed bright red when Tom asked her.”
