VH1 gets hungry with a new weight-loss reality show. The Celebreality Network — better known for helping D-Level celebs find the mate of their dreams than helping overweight Americans bust the fat — introduce their latest weight loss show, but this time the stakes are higher.

Ten teams of contestants are plopping down their own hard-earned dough for a chance at taking home the pool of $100,000. The teams of two will put forward $10,000 of their own money to participate in the show, with the team who loses the most combined weight taking the entire bounty at program’s end. The show follows the format of weight-loss hits like Biggest Loser by offering participants access to personal trainers and grueling challenges.

Money Hungry will air Mondays @ 9 PM on VH1 beginning Aug. 2.
