We may be only eight years into the decade, but VH1 is already preparing to pay homage to the 2000s with a new nostaglic series for the network’s I Love The….series. I Love The New Millennium will feature with classic videos, hilarious guest interviews, and fashions trends, music groups, and cultural events paramount to the decade.
“Join us as we travel back in time to an era where Brad Pitt was happily married to Jennifer Aniston,” VH1 said in a press release announcing the new series on Sunday.
“Angelina Jolie and Madonna had yet to start the mad adoption craze, and Britney Spears still had her shit together.”
I Love The New Millennium will join predecessors I Love The 70s, I Love The 80s, and I Love The 90s on the VH1 schedule later this month.

It is not too soon, however, the show’s title is wrong. They need to change it back to the name of the decade. Unfortunately, there is no name for the decade. I have the perfect name.
The Unies! The years between 0 & 9 are only one digit and uni means one. Unicycle, unicorn. It also is a pre-fix that means to make one. University is a bunch of colleges. Uniformity.

The next decade should be called the decies - deci is a numerical prefix that means ten.
