Eighties classic Purple Rain has topped Vanity Fair Magazine’s poll of ‘Best Movie Soundtracks of All-Time.’ The editors rallied the soundtrack as a mixture of “funk, R’n'B, pop, metal, and even psychedelia” that managed to create “a sound that defined the ’80s.”
