News reels and covers of Lady Gaga songs aren’t the only things going viral on the Interwebs these days. The University of Southern California has been left shamefaced after saucy snaps of two students doing “The Sideways Samba” (and several other positions…) on the rooftop of a school building hit the Net in a big way this week. Word on the Curb has it that the kinky culprits were caught with their pants down — literally and figuratively — as hundreds of people stood in the quad below during an on-campus “philanthropy event” earlier this month.
The guy in the photos is a member of the prestigious Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was suspended shortly after the emergence of the images. It’s the second scandal to hit the frat in a matter of weeks. Kappa Sigma has been skating on thin ice reputation-wise ever since a member sent out the “Cocksman Email” — a misogynistic rant that would make Tucker Max blush — in which women were referred to as “objects” and “targets.”
Sounds like a lovely group of young men, doesn’t it?
Here’s what Kappa officials have to say about the Sex on the Rooftop Fiasco: “While the actions that were taken did involve a member of our chapter we, in no way, support this kind of behavior, nor do we promote any other such actions. The member in question has been suspended from Kappa Sigma for conduct unbecoming of a Kappa Sigma and a gentleman until a more detailed investigation can be conducted.”
