Updates on “Sixth Sense” Star
Haley Joel Osment, who suffered a broken rib from a car accident last month, may now endure up to 6 months in jail if he’s convicted on charges accusing Osment of driving while under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana.
After the July 20th crash, where Osment’s car careened into a mailbox, his blood alcohol limit was found to be .16 — twice above the legal limit.
Osment was charged on Thursday with several misdemeanor counts, including driving under the influence, marijuana possession, and additional counts. What’s more, because Osment is three years below the legal drinking age, he’s being served a vehicle code infraction for being under age and driving with a blood alcohol limit greater than .05.
His arraignment is scheduled for September 19th.
