Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Umaga (AKA “Jamal”) has died after suffering a second heart attack, wrestlingobserver.com has learned.

He was 36.

Dubbed “The Samoan Bulldozer,” Umaga is likely best known for headlining the 2008 Wrestlemania “Battle Of The Billionaires” event against Bobby Lashley, in which WWE owner Vince McMahon put his hair on the line against the hair of Donald Trump.

Umaga — who real name is Edward Fatu — was rushed from his suburban Texas home to a Houston-area hospital after his wife found him unconscious with blood coming from his nose early Friday. After spending several hours on life support, the brain dead athlete was removed from machines and pronounced dead at approximately 6PM EST.

Umaga was released from WWE in June after failing a drug test and refusing the organization’s offer to attend drug rehab.

The WWE issued this statement late Friday:

“WWE would like to express its deepest condolences to Mr. Fatu’s family, friends and fans on his tragic passing…..”
