I normally have been giving you new artists to listen to on Thursdays, so I’m a day late. Sorry, you know because of Christmas and all.

Probably like the rest of the world, I’ve been listening to a lot of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith lately, especially since the Grammy’s are just around the corner. So I want to all to listen to another UK native, who I think should be topping the charts like these other talented men.

His name is James Arthur, and he won the the ninth series of The X Factor UK in 2012. His debut single “Impossible”, originally song by Shontelle, was released after the finale and debuted number one on the UK Singles Chart in its first week of release.

Impossible is one of the best love/ breakup songs I think that has ever been written, and Arthur just takes the song to a whole other place tugging hard on your heart strings. I hope in 2015, his name will be known world wide.
