“U2 Way” W. 53rd St. Times Square NYC
On Tuesday, U2 will have a street in New York City Times Square named after them.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has announced that West 53rd Street will temporarily be renamed U2 Way in recognition of the Irish rockers becoming the first musical act to complete a week-long stint on CBS’s the Late Show With David Letterman, which films at the city’s iconic Ed Sullivan Theater.
