Despite the thick summer heat, the Emmy-winning former supermodel was photographed wearing a robe and Ugg boots on the Manhattan set of The CW drama on Thursday.

Tyra will join the cast in a single episode to air during Gossip Girl’s upcoming third season. She’s set to play as Ursula Nyquist, a “larger-than-life actress” that Serena tangles with at a film premiere. The role will be Tyra’s first character television role since appearing in an episode of NBC’s American Dreams in 2004.
