Summit Entertainment and USA Today have released the first public photo of “The Wolf Pack” that will be featured in the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon.

Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman will join franchise star Taylor Lautner in the film’s Quileute nation wolf pack. All of the new castmembers are of Native American or First Nations descent, respresenting the Lakota (Sioux), Cree-Metis, Purepecha (Tarasco), Hualapai, and Cree nations.

According to USA Today, New Moon director Chris Weitz insisted on the actors’ Native American ancestry. “They had to have papers that proved their heritage.”

Twilight: New Moon opens in theaters everywhere this November.
