True Blood confirms 7th season will be it’s last

Next summer the blood and guts of True Blood will come to and end.

After what will be the 7th season on HBO, the series will call it quits. According to HBO, “True Blood has been nothing short of a defining show for HBO,” said Michael Lombardo, president of HBO programming. “Alan Ball took the books by Charlaine Harris, assembled a brilliant cast led by the magnificent Anna Paquin in the role of Sookie Stackhouse and crafted a show that has taken its many devoted fans on an unforgettable journey.”

Executive producer Brian Buckner says the series will end “powerfully” and will rap with 10-episodes in the series.
