Tricia Walsh-Smith YouTube Divorce Settlement
A British actress who shot to YouTube fame after posting monologues about her failed marriage to a Broadway producer must vacate their apartment within a month, a New York judge ruled Monday. Tricia Walsh-Smith, 41, has been ordered to leave the house in which she created videos about her 77 year-old ex-husband, Philip Smith.
She has has until August 21 to move out of the Park Avenue apartment.
Philip Smith, the president of the Shubert Organization which owns Broadway theaters, sued for divorce on the grounds that the videos constituted spousal abuse.
He has been ordered to pay Tricia $50,000 immediately and, within 30 days, $700,000 as promised by the prenuptial agreement the couple signed before their wedding in 1999.
