Paramount and DreamWorks have set a July 1, 2011 opening date for Transformers 3, Variety revealed on Monday. No word on whether series stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are coming back for the film.

In the meantime, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opens in theaters on June 24.
