Trace Cyrus Rips The Jonas Brothers: “They’re Totally Fake”

Miley Cyrus’ older brother has hurled a scathing insult at the actress’ former flame Nick Jonas and his brothers — referring to their pop trio The Jonas Brothers as “totally fake.”

Tattooed and pierced Trace Cyrus refuses to change his image to attract a larger audience for his pop Metro Station; a marketing ploy he claims was adopted by Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas in a bid to appeal to their bubblegum-lovin’ peers.

Trace tells Details Magazine: “I’m not trying to clean my image to make anyone happy. I could have gone the route of the Jonas Brothers. Those guys can’t live their lives freely. They have to put out this image that’s totally fake.”

Which Jonas Brother would be the toughest for Trace to take on in a fight? Details asks, to which Trace replied, “I don’t think any of them would be much trouble. I’d never lay a hand on Nick—I love that kid—but the other two better not get in my way.”
