T.R. Knight Leaving “Grey’s Anatomy”
E! News is reporting that actor T.R. Knight will not be returning to Grey’s Anatomy this fall.
The openly-gay actor, who plays Dr. George O’Malley on the Golden Globe Award-winning medical drama, has wanted out of the series for some time due to tension between him and Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes.
On this month’s season finale of Grey’s Anatomy, George is seen flatlining and being defibrillated after he was struck by a bus.
“He hates her and she hates him,” according to an E! source.
T.R. is also thought to have grown frustrated with his character’s storylines and lack of face time on camera over the past few months.
