At least one person has been left fuming by Tori Spelling’s decision not to reprise her role as “Donna Martin” on The CW’s Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff.
Tori, whose father Aaron Spelling created the 90210 franchise in 1990, pulled out of plans to appear on the new series after she discovered former co-stars Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were being offered more money for their role reprisals than she was.
And that decision has made husband Dean McDermott a very sad man. Not that the stars of Oxygen’s Tori & Dean need the extra dough. Oh no. Dean’s upset because Tori’s ousting spoils any chance he had of landing a guest appearance on the show. Tori had reported been trying to talk producers into creating a cameo role especially for Dean.
According to a Star source: “He told her that they should have worked something out before she made an abrupt decision because now he can’t even be on the show!”
