Pop culture related items for Disney’s Hannah Montana, as well as collectibles for Material Girl Madonna, are excellent money makers for eBay, the Associated Press reports.

Items related to GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and President-Elect Barack Obama are also popular on eBay.

“When someone or something excites the American public, you immediately see a surge of related listings pop up on eBay,” said Karen Bard, eBay’s pop culture expert.
