Tony Romo reportedly dumped former girlfriend Jessica Simpson after growing tried of the buxom beauty’s constant yammering about settling down and getting married.

The singer-and-actress reportedly drove the Dallas Cowboys football star crazy after she begged him for an engagement ring, a new report from Britain’s Star Magazine claims.

Tony didn’t feel ready to marry Jessica, so he decided to end their relationship on the eve of her 29th birthday earlier this month.

A insider reveals: “It got to the point where that’s all she’d talk about. She would speak to him all the time about buying an engagement ring. Even in public.”

“Jessica expected it last Christmas. Then she thought she would get one for New Year’s Eve. And when by Valentine’s Day it didn’t happen, the tension between them became explosive,” says the Star source.

“The night before her birthday, Tony warned her that he wasn’t ready to buy a ring. They had a massive fight and Tony cut the cord for good.”

In the days since the breakup, Tony has been seen partying with friends at Los Angeles hotspots, like MyHouse and the Key Club.
