Eva Longoria’s NBA-starring husband Tony Parker has decided to take legal action against X17.com over the website refusal to recant a story accusing the newlywed of cheating with French model Alexandra Paressant.

“Tony adamantly and unconditionally denies ever having laid eyes on this woman, let alone having had an affair with her,” Los Angeles-based attorney Larry Stein said in a statement Tuesday. “The allegations of the supposed affair are entirely false and fabricated.”

“We have been instructed to promptly file suit against X17.com and to pursue all legal remedies against those making such false accusations.”

X17 is standing by its decision to publish Paressant’s claims.

“The journalists at X17online conducted extensive research for the reporting of this story and we felt the evidence was too strong to ignore. Alexandra Paressant’s claims were significant and newsworthy and we are continuing to uncover more details each day in our continued investigation.”
