Hip-hop star Ludacris and Montley Crue rocker Tommy Lee have signed on for an eco-centric reality competition under the Discovery Network’s new Planet Green Channel.

Battleground Earth will feature Ludacris and rocker Tommy Lee competing in various challenges around the country that highlight eco-friendly issues. Planet Green debuts on June 4th, with Battleground Earth’s projected premiere set for July or August.

“Battleground will feature Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Tommy Lee criss-crossing the country competing in various challenges designed to highlight green issues. The series will culminate with the two artists converging in Los Angeles to co-headline a concert at the Greek Theater with proceeds benefiting Griffith Park.”
