Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have been denied entry into a chic St. Tropez nightclub.

The superstar couple were turned away from celebrity hangout the Caves du Roi in the Byblos Hotel in St Tropez.

A hotel spokeswoman confirmed today: “It was so crowded. It would have been dangerous to let them in.”

She added: “I do not know what they did after that.”

Among celebrities who were allowed into the party was P Diddy.
