Katie Holmes is having problems finding work because of her marriage to kooky Tom Cruise and her Scientology faith, according to Hollywood snitches.

The British Mirror reports that one-half of TomKat has hired agent to relaunch the Batman Begins star. Studios reportedly aren’t jumping at the chance to take on Katie.

“Studios may be gun-shy of her new status as a tabloid fixture,” a movie insider told the Wall Street Journal on Sunday. “And her expectations may be raised as the new Mrs Cruise. Stars of much bigger stature, including Meg Ryan and Demi Moore, have found it tough to regain their momentum after taking time off.”

Katie couldn’t strike a deal to appear in the sequel to Batman Begins. The actress will co-star in the upcoming comedy Mad Money alongside Queen Latifah.
