Someone should page Planet Cruise and inform America’s Most Famous Scientologist that he is no longer Hollywood’s leading man. Tom Cruise has been dumped from Columbia Pictures’ espionage thriller Edwin A. Salt (currently in pre-production) after demanding a $20 million salary.

According to FOX News, the studio was unwilling to shell out that kind of count for an “over-the-hill” Tom, who is weighed down by whispers of weirdness and mental instability like a giant anchor.
